A quarterly magazine run by the Eugene Chamber of Commerce (EACC) that connects readers to the community by highlighting the work of local businesses and the Chamber.

Project Description
During my time as the graphic designer for the EACC, one of my key responsibilities was the design of the Open for Business magazine. As the first in-house graphic designer, I took on the task of enhancing the reader experience by implementing various design strategies.
To increase reader engagement, I focused on expanding the imagery within the magazine. These images helped to capture the attention of the readers and draw them into the content. In addition to expanding the use of imagery, I also prioritized highlighting key points throughout the magazine. By utilizing typography and layout techniques, I made important information stand out. This ensured that readers could easily identify and comprehend the key messages. Furthermore, I added value to the magazine by creating custom graphics. These graphics were specifically tailored to complement and enhance the articles and featured topics within the magazine. By strategically incorporating custom graphics, I aimed to visually reinforce the content and make it more engaging and memorable for the readers.
